The cooperation between the Bentley brand and Breitling look alike watches can be traced back to 2002, when Bentley Motors was developing a Continental GT model that redefines the ultra-luxury sports touring car segment. At the same time, Bentley Motors commissioned watch manufacturer Breitling to create an on-board timepiece with luxury style, excellent quality and outstanding performance for this new work.
In the 1920s, the legendary "Bentley Boys" wrote a legendary record in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2003, Bentley returned to this event. During the period, Breitling not only became one of the main sponsors of the Bentley team, but also specially created a limited edition "Bentley Le Mans" chronograph (Bentley Le Mans Limited Edition Chronograph) to celebrate the success of the race.
Bentley's impressive achievements are not limited to the track. In 2011, racer Juha Kankkunen drove a Continental GT convertible supercar on the ice of the Baltic Sea. The driver wore a Breitling Bentley Supercar Lightweight Chronograph, which broke the record set by Bentley Motors in 2007 at a speed of 331 km/h.
In 2014, Bentley Motors returned to the GT3 category with the Continental GT3 and won many awards with its strong performance. A year later, a limited edition of the Breitling Bentley GT3 Chronograph came out with a sporty black titanium case and a carbon fiber dial inspired by racing cars. In the same year, Breitling also created a tourbillon on-board timer for Bentley Bentayet, which pioneered the ultra-luxury SUV segment. It became one of the most valuable configurations in car interiors, demonstrating the two brands' pursuit of excellent performance.
In 2015, Bentley Motors and Breitling unveiled seven Bentley Continental GT Express Breitling Jet Team Special Editions at the Seattle Boeing Seafair Airshow in the United States as a tribute to fleet engineers, flight controllers and pilots. The car adopts the two-color exterior design of Onyx and Hallmark, which is in the same line as the exterior paint of the Breitling Jet Team.
In 2018, Breitling launched the Premier B01 Chronograph 42 Bentley British Racing Green Special Edition, equipped with Breitling high-performance flagship self-made 01 movement, which can be seen through the transparent case back decorated with the metal Bentley logo. The watches of this series are all with "Bentley" inscription plaques, and their design is inspired by the dashboard of the Bentley Blower model in 1929. The car is equipped with a mechanical supercharger, which is of great historical significance.
In 2019, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Bentley, Breitling craftsmanship to create a limited edition premium Bentley 100th anniversary commemorative watch, available in 18K red gold and stainless steel. In addition, this watch features an elegant and unique brown elm dial design, which is designed to echo the wooden trim of the Blower racing seat driven by Tim Birkin in the Mulliner Special Edition of the Continental GT 9.
In the course of nearly two decades of cooperation, the Bentley brand and Breitling have demonstrated their unremitting pursuit of innovative spirit, excellent craftsmanship, elegant design and cutting-edge technology. At the end of the cooperation between the two parties, the two brands launched 25 Premier B21 Tourbillon Chronograph 42 Bentley Limited Editions for customers around the world to commemorate this extraordinary journey.
